What is an access number?
An access number is a telephone number you dial to connect to our services. You pay one flat rate to connect to our systems and once connected, you enter the international number you are calling (including the 00 and international code) followed by #    Back to top

Can I call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?
Yes, you can call at any time and you are usually charged the same low rate whenever you call (the only exception is 0870 access numbers, which are charged at different rates at weekends and evenings)   Back to top

Can I call from my mobile?
Yes, you can call our numbers from your mobile, however we advise checking the cost of calling the access number first with your operator. In most cases, you'd find it cheaper to use our Mobile Service (either for pre-pay or pay-monthly customers)    Back to top

Can I call from a payphone?
Our numbers are available from any UK phone, however you may find that calls from payphones are subject to a surcharge by the payphone operator and may be at higher rates than advertised on this web site. Its usually cheaper to call from a landline or use our mobile service    Back to top

The service didn't connect me. What happened?
Follow this list to diagnose the issue:

1) Dial the correct access number for your destination (noting that access numbers are usually different for calling landlines and mobiles)?
2) Did you enter the full international number (including international dialing code)?
3) Did you follow your international number by #?
4) If you heard a message in a foreign language, it is most likely a problem at the "other end" (eg. the mobile you are calling is out of coverage, or the foreign network is overloaded), try calling back a bit later.

If the above list doesn't solve your query, get in touch    Back to top

How do I pay for my calls?
We never bill you, all calls made to our access numbers are billed by your service provider (eg. BT, Telewest, NTL etc). Any calls to our access numbers will just appear itemised on your bill as per any other call    Back to top

Can I use call2abroad from operators other than BT (eg. NTL or Telewest)?
All the rates for calling our access numbers are those charged by BT. Generally, other landline providers charge exactly the same as BT, however you may want to check in advance if unsure    Back to top
